Blues on Belgrade

The first event on Belgrade by Business on Belgrade was Blues on Belgrade, which was in 2009. It was originally held in a gravel parking lot behind the Circle Inn where the Marigold building now sits. The hope/dream was that this would be a community event and an opportunity for all businesses on Belgrade to be involved. It was a hit!! In 2010 it was moved to the east end of Belgrade Ave and in 2011 the stage was located at the intersection of Range and Belgrade. In 2012 the Belgrade Ave Blues and Jazz Festival became the Blues on Belgrade Concert. We do love our alliteration so Blues on Belgrade aligned with Business on Belgrade (B.O.B) thus the other names for events fell into place. This event is held in July and is free of charge and is filled with family, friends and good times. With local and national blues bands playing all day and though the night. The local businesses are the venders and committee for helping the day to be the best it can be. This event has grown tremendously over the years and has helped to bring people into beautiful lower north.

Bier on Belgrade

This is our version of German heritage and fun. Bier on Belgrade first started in 2012 and has grow ever since with more games, food, beer samples and people. People are encouraged to dress in "Oktoberfest" attire and be ready to have fun while listening to music and drinking some bier.  This event is held the last Saturday of September. This one is a 21+ event

Bookin on Belgrade

This event started in 2013 and is to promote public health and wellbeing in our community. It is a nearly 5k family fun run and walk that is also promoting our local Taylor Library. This is a wonderful community event and lets people enjoy the scenery of beautiful lower north. Bookin on Belgrade kicks off the summer and is held in May.

Bells on Belgrade

This event is for the kids and those of us that are kids at heart. This is one of our newest events and was started in 2014 with it being a raging success and so much fun. This is our version of bringing the community and kids together for the holidays and making wonderful family memories. There are trolley rides, games, carolers, hot chocolate, goodies to warm you up and Santa. In 2015 we added a parade that started after the sun went down with floats decorated with lights and different themes. This was a huge hit and you could just tell it will make memories for all. Cant wait for what else is to come!

Anthony Ford Pond Hockey

This event takes place in Spring Lake Park in beautiful lower North Mankato. Its put on by the Anthony Ford Committee and hosted by Business on Belgrade. The core purpose of this event is to raise funds for pediatric cancer research and help make hockey more affordable for youth hockey players. For more information and Anthony's story visit
